Architectural Design
At zero ten, we believe that design is a process, not a product, an outcome or a commodity. Design represents our continual testing and refining of the choices we make throughout the entirety of the process. Design never rests. It’s rooted in all things around us.
Yes, aesthetics are always at the forefront, but it is the function and meaning of the design that is our first consideration. Aesthetic decisions are always grounded in real human needs and project goals.
Throughout the architectural design phase, we work with our clients to develop creative solutions that meet their needs, budget and timing, and we enjoy collaborating with them as we as explore and develop the project’s vision.

As an extension of our architectural design services, we are proud to offer interior design services as well — services necessary to round out the design and marry the architecture with the interiors. Without which, the interiors are nothing more than mere decoration.
We have come to learn that this is the best way to provide you with a cohesive experience, one that is well balanced, harmonious and unified.

Zero Ten was our architecture firm for the renovation of our home. John Rojas and his partners did a fantastic job. Every morning when I wake up in our sun-filled, open and elegant home I feel a sense of joy. John listened carefully to us describing how we live, entertain and relax and designed the perfect setting for our family. Every visitor we’ve had has exclaimed over the beauty and ethereal feel of the house. And if you can see what we started with, you’ll understand how far the house has come!

Absolutely love Zero Ten Design and especially Jamie Shorten, who was in charge of our project. They were able to turn a completely empty space into a workplace I absolutely enjoy going to every day. Resolute: A Beer and Wine Experience
I was extremely pleased with the work that Jamie Shorten and ZeroTen did for me in the remodel of my SF home. I lived in the home for over 10 years had an idea of what I wanted to accomplish in a remodel. I encouraged Jamie to suggest his own vision for the space based on my needs. Jamie came up with a plan that made the absolute most of every square foot of my place. I would have never imagined the layout that he came up with and it was by far the winning design choice.
Jamie was always available through the whole process. He was helpful in guiding my decisions so that the materials and fixtures I choose kept a timeless feel. Jamie has impeccable taste and knows how to guide his clients within their budget. Jamie also introduced me to contractors and helped me select a fantastic team to do the work.
